今日は8/30。世間では５のつく日や１０のつく日を５・１０日（ごとうび）と呼ぶことがあります。
道路がいつもより混むというものですが、銀行や病院が混むという説もあるそうです。
特に月末の25日や30日は混む印象ですが、もともとは企業活動や為替相場などで、締め日や支払日が5の倍数の日になることが多かったらしく、そこから来ているそうです。
明日で8月も終わりですが、30日というのは普段の作業に加えて請求書の発行など、何かとバタバタしがちです。
前もってできることは先にしておきたいと思います。
さて、前置きが長くなりましたが、今日は興味深いニュースを見かけました。
宮内庁がSNS開設を検討しているそうで、割と具体的に計画しているようです。
つまり実現の可能性が高いということですが、もしそうなったらとても楽しみですね。
イギリス王室は先進的な取り組みが目立ち、YouTubeなどでもとてもチャーミングなビデオを配信しています。
日本の皇室はどのような方針を打ち立て、運用していくのかとても興味深いです。
今回のオフィシャルSNS開設の理由として、
「さまざまな媒体で皇室に関する誤った情報も出されており、宮内庁から積極的に情報発信すべきだとの声を踏まえ、SNSという新しい媒体などを検討し、情報発信をより積極的に行っていく」という説明があったそうです。
当然すぎる判断だと思います。
「さまざまな媒体」がゴシップ誌や個人が展開するフェイクニュースを指しているのは想像に難くありません。
新聞やテレビなど大手メディアの責任も少なくないと思います。
アジテーションや何らかのイデオロギーのためになされる言説、週刊誌等のゴシップを国民がもっと意識的に見分ける必要があるということは常々感じています。
週刊誌に関してはニーズがある以上なくならないと思いますが、子供の頃からメディアリテラシーの教育をきちんと義務化し、ゴシップやフェイクを「まに受けない」土壌づくりはしなければいけないのではないでしょうか。
そこが家庭ごとに自由になされ、親次第で放置されていると、国や社会にとって大きな損失になると思います。
近年の諸外国の例を考えると早急に取り組むべき課題だと感じます。
