今日８月２６日はレインボーブリッジの開通記念日なんだそうです。
1993年（平成五年）に開通なので、来年で30歳ですね。
レインボーブリッジといえばお台場、お台場といえばフジテレビですが、自分が若い頃に勤めた会社はお台場に縁が深い会社でした。
今の自分の仕事の土台を作ってくれた素晴らしい会社です。
残念ながら今はもう法人組織としては存在していませんが、先輩方や外部クリエイターとして関わってくださっていた方々は今も様々な場所で活躍されています。
とても大変な、一言では表現できない過酷な場所でしたが、作り手にとっては本当に素晴らしい環境でした。心から感謝したいと思います。
橋といえば東山の浅野川大橋は今年なんと100周年だそうで、100年前つまり1922年（大正11年）12月の開通とのことです。
大正末期の橋を普段から渡っていると考えると感慨深いですね。
浅野川大橋は東山や主計町界隈のみならず金沢を代表する橋で、市民の生活に深い関わりがあり、同時に美的景観を作りだしているとても重要な橋です。
お台場の象徴のようにレインボーブリッジがあり、東山の象徴のように浅野川大橋がある。そんなふうに感じます。
レインボーブリッジはまだまだ若いのでこれからも頑張ってくれると思いますが、浅野川大橋は今後どうなっていくのだろうと少し心配になりました。
百周年はめでたいけれど、あの美しい橋がいつまでもこのまま壊れずに架かっていて欲しい、そう思います。
