こんにちは。またまた久しぶりの更新になってしまいました。
今日は最近のお仕事にからひとつ紹介させていただきます。
弊社は金沢市の東山茶屋街の奥にあるシェアオフィスに入居しているのですが、お隣のフロアはカフェになっています。そのカフェ「喫茶グライダー」さんのショップカード制作を担当させていただきました。
暖かく優しい雰囲気のマスターと、少し懐かしいような東欧風の雑貨が目を引く居心地の良い空間で、弊社では打ち合わせの際や来客の際によくお世話になっています。
ショップカードには空を飛ぶグライダーのイメージから紙飛行機のイラストをあしらうことになりました。
その奇跡が柔らかな線を空に引き、カードの表裏をつないでいます。
デザインを作るために何度かお話をお伺いしました。
アイデンティティを作る（見つける）のはいつもとても面白い作業です。顧客もデザイナーも思ってもみなかった形や色が出てきたり、ゴールや手段が当初の想定から変わったりします。発見があります。
今回はマスターのバックパッカー時代のお話や、その外国で見た一枚の壁画、お客さんにどんな時間を過ごして欲しいかなどの「想い」がデザインに影響を与えました。「対話」と言うと気取った言葉になりますが、お話の中で、マスターが思うサービスとは「一方的なものではなく一緒に作り上げるもの」という言葉が印象深かったです。ありがとうございました。
